With over 8 years of coaching experience, Coach Luis believes in a personalized and developmental approach. Whether working one-on-one or with small groups, he focuses on achieving key milestones appropriate for each player's age and goals. His sessions emphasize technical skills, game intelligence, and continuous feedback—fostering growth both as athletes and individuals.
As a certified U.S. Soccer Coach, Luis combines formal training with personal experience to deliver impactful coaching built on passion, structure, and trust.

Meet Coach Luis
Coach Luis is a lifelong soccer enthusiast, dedicated coach, and proud father of two young competitive players whom he personally trains. His deep passion for the sport and commitment to youth development have driven him to create a positive impact both on and off the field.
A Lifelong Love for the Game
Luis’s journey with soccer began early—playing competitively throughout his youth and into college. He captained both his high school and college teams, earning multiple league championships and individual awards along the way. Today, he continues to play in a local adult league, staying connected to the game he loves.
Coaching Journey & Community Roots
In 2018, Coach Luis took his first official step into youth coaching by launching "Golden Ninjas," a toddler-focused soccer camp designed to provide a fun and welcoming introduction to the sport for young children, their families, and friends. (Click here to see the former program.)
From that foundation, his involvement quickly grew. He has since worked with various local clubs, developing recreational programs such as soccer camps, scrimmages, and community games—all with a focus on building skill, confidence, and a lifelong love for soccer.
In 2023, he founded Morgan Hill United FC, a competitive youth training program that reflects his coaching philosophy: small-group, high-quality, hands-on instruction tailored to the unique needs of each player.

At Morgan Hill United FC & Soccer Training, our mission is to inspire, develop, and elevate the next generation of youth soccer and futsal players in the South Bay Area through personalized, high-quality training rooted in passion, discipline, and a love for the game.
Led by founder and professional coach Luis Torres, MUFC is committed to providing a tailored and dynamic training environment that focuses on technical mastery, individual growth, and continuous development. We specialize in small group and 1-on-1 sessions, designed to deliver meaningful instruction, maximize player engagement, and build confidence on and off the field.
Our programs aim to support competitive players ages 5–17 with structured, progressive training that emphasizes footwork, decision-making, and gameplay intelligence. Through clinics, leagues, tournaments, and futsal, we create opportunities for young athletes to train with purpose, play with passion, and thrive as individuals and teammates.

Coach Luis brings over a decade of experience, having coached in the South Bay since 2015. His expertise in player development is the foundation of our individualized and small-group training sessions. With a focus on technical skills, tactical awareness, and continuous feedback, we ensure that every player receives the attention they need to grow and excel.
Established in response to the growing demand for specialized soccer and futsal instruction, our programs are structured with player development at the core. Training sessions are limited to a maximum of four players, ensuring personalized coaching and measurable progress.
Since 2023, our programs have gained regional recognition for their quality and effectiveness. While we are not formally affiliated with U.S. Youth Futsal, US Soccer, or NorCal, our commitment to excellence and player enjoyment remains unmatched in the area.
